Thoughts: This was the first of my long runs. It was also my first run this winter while wearing STABILicers. On top of that I was also sick. Considering all of that I am pretty pleased with my pace. After reading in an Outside Magazine article about stretching before workouts I've changed up my pre-run routine to be more dynamic than static stretching. I was not sore the following day, which is not to say that it helped, but it didn't hurt.
